Marketplace Rules

Last updated: September 2026

These Marketplace Rules explain what you can list on SWAP and how listings should be presented so that buyers and swap partners can trust what they see. They apply to every listing created on the Platform.

What You Can List

SWAP is built for pickleball paddles and related gear, such as bags, balls, apparel, and accessories intended for play. Listings should be genuinely available items that you own or have the right to sell or swap.

Listing Accuracy

Your listing should accurately describe the item, including brand, model, condition, and any notable wear, repairs, or modifications. Do not misrepresent the condition, authenticity, or origin of an item.

  • Use the condition options provided and describe defects honestly.
  • Disclose known issues, such as delamination, edge damage, or grip wear.
  • Only list items you are prepared to ship or hand over as described.

Photo Requirements

Listings should include clear, recent photos of the actual item being sold or swapped. Avoid using stock photos or images pulled from other listings unless the item is unopened and you disclose that stock imagery is being used to represent it.

Pricing Honesty

Set prices that reflect what you are genuinely willing to accept. Do not use misleading pricing tactics, such as listing an item far below market value to attract attention and then refusing to honor the listed price.

Prohibited Listings

Certain items are not allowed on SWAP regardless of condition or price. See our Prohibited Items page for a fuller, illustrative list.

Communication Expectations

Respond to buyers and swap partners in a timely and respectful manner. Keep communication about a transaction on-platform whenever possible so that it remains covered by our support and dispute processes.

Consequences for Violations

Listings that violate these rules may be removed, and accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate these rules may be suspended or terminated. We may also limit certain marketplace features for accounts under review.
