Community Guidelines

Last updated: September 2026

SWAP is built on trust between players. These Community Guidelines describe the behavior we expect from everyone who uses the Platform, so that buying, selling, and swapping gear stays a positive experience for everyone.

Communicate Respectfully

Treat other users the way you'd want to be treated on the court. Keep messages, offers, and negotiations courteous, even when a deal doesn't work out.

No Harassment or Discrimination

Harassment, hate speech, and discrimination of any kind have no place on SWAP. This includes abusive language, threats, and targeting other users based on personal characteristics.

Be Honest in Listings and Offers

Describe your gear accurately, follow through on offers you make, and don't use misleading tactics to attract buyers or swap partners. Honesty is what makes a peer-to-peer marketplace work.

Keep Transactions On-Platform

Complete your payments, swaps, and related communication through SWAP whenever possible. Our Swap Protection only applies to transactions completed on the Platform, so moving a deal off-platform puts you at greater risk.

Report Bad Actors

If you encounter a user who is behaving dishonestly, disrespectfully, or in violation of these guidelines, please report it. Reports help us keep the community safe for everyone.

Consequences for Violations

Violating these guidelines may result in listing removal, warnings, temporary restrictions, or account suspension, depending on the nature and severity of the behavior.

The Spirit of SWAP

Above all, we want SWAP to feel like a community of players helping players get the right gear. Following these guidelines helps keep that spirit alive as the community grows.
